Since their beginning in 1991, The Grooves have become a favorite of Texas bands, performing all styles of music to rave audiences across Texas. The Grooves' show is an exciting combination of classic rock, Motown, oldies, disco, rock and roll, country, standards, swing, eighties dance, plus all the most up to date dance music. Though based in Austin, Texas, The Grooves travel statewide across Texas to play countless events including wedding receptions, corporate parties, Holiday parties, birthday parties, graduation parties, barmitzvahs and reunions. Fortune 500 companies love The Grooves and have them back again, and again. The Grooves can also transform themselves into a variety show band with exciting costumes to turn your party into a truly outrageous dance extravaganza! The Grooves' can play a dinner set if everyone is eating dinner during their first set that will be a mix of Sinatra, light Motown, and classics that guests can dance to if they like, but the music won’t be too loud so guests can still easily converse and enjoy their dinner. After dinner the band can jump into high energy dance mode to get the party hopping. The Grooves offer a small version of the group for small functions, but can also expand this already knockout band into a ten piece super group for even the largest of events. In effect, The Grooves can be many different bands, depending on what style you want. The Grooves band has over one hundred seventy songs in their repertoire and can play several hours of one style of music if you prefer, such as country, standards, or disco.
