This jazz combo sports a more sophisticated 30's jazz swing and dixieland sound, entertaining at private parties and receptions in Houston's upscale neighborhoods, country clubs, and restaurants. A teacher and performer living in Houston Texas. With a background in Music Education and Church Music, she is a composer, arranger and a conductor of vocal and instrumental performing groups, and has taught and performed at venues all across the US and across the Big Pond. This talented musician has produced four CDs and numerous books and arrangements for hammer dulcimer, Mt. dulcimer and acoustic ensembles. Refer to as Band "G" when requesting booking information.
From weddings to birthday parties, banquets to anniversaries, church services to community events, she has been performing in public for about six years. Musical influences range everywhere from Led Zeppelin to Keith Urban and Steely dan. Determined to prove that a big star doesn't have to come from a big glamorous, or faraway place. Along with her fellow band mates, she plans to follow in the footsteps of other local celebrities like Renee Zellwegger, Clint Black, and Frank Bielec and become the next big thing to come out of little Katy, Texas!
